Media Box fund Justin Brown

With funding provided by Mediabox, the £6 million Department for Education and Skills fund for disadvantaged 13-19 year olds to make media projects, Justin Brown pushes forwards with Dark Room.

As an emerging cinematographer, Justin will work alongside mentor Vincent De Paula to ensure that Darkroom is filmed and lit to the highest standards. Shooting on Supper 16mm to obtain a true real life look and feel, Justin aims to create a stunning short film which captures the emotions experienced by photojournalists in 1980’s Belfast. The mediabox funding will also help to ensure that the film is distributed with funds set aside for DVD’s and a website.
